Get Better Creative workshops are created and led by Dave Hamel, a marketing communications expert with 40 years of experience developing effective branding and creative on the advertising agency and marketing side of the business.
Originally developed for the American Marketing Association as training sessions titled – “Successfully Managing the Creative Process,” Get Better Creative workshops have evolved and been refined over the past 15 years to provide an experience, knowledge and tools from which marketers will find value on day one.
A four-time EFFIE award winner - the top recognition of marketing effectiveness - Dave has conducted Get Better Creative workshops for organizations and companies throughout the United States; on behalf of the American Marketing Association; at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business, from which he earned his MBA; and in the Integrated Marketing Communications graduate programs of Chicago’s Roosevelt University and Loyola University.
In addition, he has spearheaded efforts as a brand strategist for a diverse group of companies including Moen faucets, Bank of America, CareerBuilder, National Louis University, Helene Curtis, Prevacid, Diners Club, Unilever and Rust-Oleum. Dave has also been the CMO of Internet shopping website – ShopLocal.com.
